Cooked breakfast is served every morning in the restaurant from 8.00 am to 9.30 am. Continental breakfast is available from 7.45 am either in the restaurant or your bedroom.
Light lunches are always available for residents but the restaurant is only open at lunch time on New Years Day, Mothering and Easter Sundays. For pre-booked parties of 10 or more we will happily open the restaurant.
Dinner is served each night of the week at 8.00 pm and smart dress is preferred. Hot dinners are only served in the restaurant and not in the bedrooms.
We also serve morning coffee and biscuits and light afternoon tea of homemade cake to both residents and non residents. For a full afternoon tea of sandwiches, cakes and scones prior booking of 24 hours is required.
Children from the age of five are very welcome. For children from five to sixteen when sleeping in an extra bed as the third person in a room, the only charge will be for meals as taken. For two children of this age, when sleeping in their own room there will be a fifty percent reduction off the normal rate.
Dogs are welcome in the hotel but at no time may they be left alone in the bedroom. They must be left in the car during all meals and any damage caused will be charged for. Guide dogs may be with their partners at all times.
Smoking: Please remember that it is now illegal to smoke anywhere in the hotel. We do not have any smoking bedrooms and if this is a problem please do not make a reservation.
Following a recent court case please also be aware that smoking leaning out of a bedroom window counts as smoking in the house.
