Rates

At Farlam Hall there are 12 bedrooms, 11 in the hotel (2 are on the ground floor) and one in the stable house. The room in the stables is reached by an external stone staircase and is ideal for anyone wishing to return to the hotel late at night. Due to the age of the house all the rooms vary in size and shape and the three rates reflect the size of room and not the quality.

The rates are per person, per night and include dinner, full English breakfast and V.A.T. at 20%. Depending on the size of the room chosen the 3 rates are £150.00, £170.00 and £180.00 for double occupancy. There is a £10.00 surcharge for single occupancy.

The large bedrooms are able to accommodate an extra bed. The rate per night inclusive of breakfast only is £50.00 or inclusive of dinner and breakfast £85.00.

All reservations must be confirmed by either, writing, faxing or email. A deposit for all overseas booking of £100.00 per room is required. This must be paid by sterling cheque, Mastercard/Visa or American Express. This deposit applies to the first and last night of the stay to cover late arrival or early departure.

A refund of the deposit less £10.00 will be granted to all cancellations received 30 days prior to arrival. 30 to 15 days at 50%. Within 15 days no refund unless we are able to relet in full.

Children from the age of 5 are very welcome. For the children from 5 to 16, when sleeping in an extra bed as the third person in a room, the only charge will be for meals as taken. Also for children of this age when sleeping in their own room there will be a 50% reduction off the normal rate.

 

Travelling Companions

Throughout the year we are very happy to be able to offer guests sharing a double room who are able to stay for more than one night a reduction from our normal rate.

This year we are offering all “Travelling Companions” sharing a double or twin room 2 different savings.

Stay for 2, 3 or 4 nights from October to May inclusive and enjoy a reduction of £32.50 per person, per night.
Stay for 5 nights or longer throughout the year and the reduction will be £37.50 per person, per night.
