Rates

At Farlam Hall there are 12 bedrooms, 11 in the hotel (2 are on the ground floor) and one in the stable house. The room in the stables is reached by an external stone staircase and is ideal for anyone wishing to return to the hotel late at night. Due to the age of the house all the rooms vary in size and shape and the three rates reflect the size of room and not the quality.

The rates are per person, per night and include dinner, full English breakfast and V.A.T. at 17.5%. Depending on the size of the room chosen the 3 rates are £145.00, £160.00 and £170.00 for double occupancy. There is a £10.00 surcharge for single occupancy.

The large bedrooms are able to accommodate and extra bed. The rate per night inclusive of breakfast only is £50.00 or inclusive of dinner and breakfast £85.00.

All reservations must be confirmed in writing and a deposit for all overseas booking of £100.00 per room is required. This must be paid by sterling cheque, Mastercard/Visa or American Express. This deposit applies to the first and last night of the stay to cover late arrival or early departure.

A refund of the deposit less £10.00 will be granted to all cancellations received 30 days prior to arrival. 30 to 15 days at 50%. Within 15 days no refund unless we are able to relet in full.

Travelling Companions

Throughout the year we are very happy to be able to offer guests sharing a double room who are able to stay for more than one night a reduction from our normal rate.

This year we are offering all "Travelling Companions" sharing a double or twin room a reduction of £30.00 per person, per night from the daily rate.

This reduction will apply on stays of:
5 night or longer June to September inc.
3 nights or longer in May and October.
2 nights or longer November to April inc.

These rates apply all year except for New Year and only for 3 night or longer over the other Bank Holiday Weekends.

Bank Holiday Breaks

Over all the Bank holidays excluding Christmas and New Year we offer a 3 day break. This must include at least one day of the Bank Holiday. For example you could arrive on the Thursday before the holiday or the Monday afterwards and stay 3 nights.

The break includes dinner, room, full English breakfast, a light tea each day, a bottle of house champagne on the day of your choice and V.A.T.
