The dining room is a huge room with floor to ceiling windows that overlook the garden and ornamental lake and allow the light to flood in. During the quieter times we are able to divide the room which does not spoil the feel but creates a more intimate room. This can also be arranged for private parties of up to 22 people.
We offer a small menu that changes daily. This allows us to use the best of local produce and avoids our residents being presented with the same selection every day.
A full vegetarian menu is available – please let us know when booking (a minimum of 24 hours notice is required) that you require a vegetarian meal. This will allow our chefs to create a full vegetarian menu, with a choice of three starters and three main courses.

Our style of food is modern English Country House which combines a light and balanced touch with traditional values. The dress code is Smart please. We always suggest that people wear what they are happy in for a special occasion.
Dinner is served each evening at around 8.00pm and we suggest that you make yourself comfortable in one of the drawing rooms around 7.15 to 7.30pm to relax with a drink and canapes. If you are delayed after 8.00pm on your way to us please keep us informed so that we will be able to help on your arrival.
The restaurant is only open at lunchtime for New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday and Mothers Day. We are always happy to open the restaurant any day of the week for pre-booked parties of 10 or more. Light lunches are always available for residents.
